Senator Justin Eichorn (R-Grand Rapids) released the following video statement on his bill to help our communities recruit more peace officers by establishing a grant program for students pursuing law enforcement degrees. The bill was introduced last week as part of the Senate Republican C.O.P.S legislative package and heard on Thursday in the Senate Higher Education Committee.
