Minnesota Senate Republicans today announced the second phase of their Advancing Minnesota agenda. The agenda builds on the historic success of the 2017 session, which included emergency health care premium aid, tax relief, and funding for roads and bridges. The priorities for 2018 emphasize caring for people by protecting wages, holding government accountable for messes like the DMV fiasco and elder abuse scandal, improving school safety, and more.
Senator Mike Goggin (R-Red Wing) released the following statement supporting the agenda:
“Just like last year, our 2018 Advancing Minnesota agenda focuses on things that will benefit your family. Over the last several months, I have listened carefully to feedback from constituents in every corner of my district about what we need to address this session. Their concerns are what shaped this agenda – protecting Minnesotan’s wages, cleaning up the DMV mess, and guaranteeing our loved ones will be safe both at school and in senior care facilities. This is an agenda that cares about Minnesota families at all stages of life.”
