Senator John Jasinski (R-Faribault) today released the following statement in response to Washington, D.C. protests breaking into the United States Capitol:  

“It is incredibly disappointing to hear about what is happening today in Washington D.C. Everyone has the right to protest, but those protests must remain peaceful. Violence and vandalism are never the answer, regardless of the political leanings of the perpetrators. Any violent acts must be punished to the fullest extent of the law.”
