Senator John Jasinski was recognized by the Minnesota Transportation Alliance, a statewide coalition of organizations advocating for safe and effective transportation, for his work championing improvements to roads and bridges in Minnesota. Senator Jasinski received the Legislator Advocate Award at the organization’s 131st Annual Meeting on November 14th for his support of funding to expand and improve Highway 14, his support of the local road and bridge programs and his advocacy for re-directing auto-related fees to transportation.
“We are pleased to honor Senator Jasinski for his many years of leadership on the Senate Transportation Committee and his strong support for investments that have made a difference for people in his district,” explained Tim Arvidson, Transportation Alliance Vice President. “The improvements to Highway 14 will save lives and improve the state’s economy for many years to come,” he added.
