Minnesota Senate President Jeremy Miller (R-Winona) today issued a statement in support of the Minnesota workers on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.

“While our state, country, and world grapple with the threats posed by the coronavirus, the unsung heroes are the doctors, nurses, medical professionals, public safety professionals, scientists, retail workers, grocery workers, farmers, and others who are on the front lines of the fight. They are the ones who are keeping society functioning during this extremely challenging time. They continue to take care of us, protect our health, and make sure that we have the food and supplies we need. They aren’t taking days off; they continue to show up to work, day in and day out, because they are committed to the communities they serve.

We owe them a huge debt of gratitude for their dedicated and tireless efforts that go above and beyond. We are all sincerely thankful.”
