Senator Jordan Rasmusson (R-Fergus Falls) released the following statement responding to the violent attack at a Trump campaign rally in Pennsylvania:

I join millions of Americans in prayer for President Trump, the innocent victims, and their families.

Violence has no place in our politics. Our constitutional republic is founded on the right to engage in political discourse without fear of violence.

My prayer is that this tragic day in our history will reaffirm our shared values and the principles that define us as a nation.
