(ST. PAUL) – On Wednesday evening, the American Conservative Union Foundation (ACUF) released its ratings of the 2019 legislative session. They also presented awards to several legislators to recognize their excellent representation of Minnesotans on a variety of topics including responsible spending, limited government, and protecting citizen’s rights. Senator Mark Koran (R-North Branch) received an 88% score from ACUF’s Center for Legislative Accountability (CLA) and an award highlighting his commitment to conservative principles last session. CLA reviews each key piece of legislation voted on in both branches of the legislature to determine the member’s score. Senator Koran’s strong conservative record earned him this honor.
“Our district is my primary focus each time I vote,” said Senator Koran. “At the Capitol, I advocate for the best service for your tax dollars. I believe transparency and accountability from our government are vital components for the success of our state. I will continue to do all I can to ensure we are free to grow and thrive in our communities with our rights uninhibited and wallets intact.”
