Senate Deputy Majority Leader Jeremy Miller (R-Winona) will hold a second series of meetings around Senate District 28 to solicit feedback from constituents about their priorities for the upcoming 2018 legislative session. The latest round of visits will take place in Fillmore and Winona Counties.
Last week, Senator Miller traveled around Houston County, where he met with local officials from La Crescent to discuss economic development projects, visited with students and teachers at Spring Grove Schools, and toured Precision Stainless, a successful small business in Caledonia.
“These meetings are crucial to helping me do my job as the voice of Fillmore, Houston, and Winona Counties in the Minnesota Senate,” said Senator Miller. “Visiting with the people I have the privilege of representing, listening to the issues on their minds, and hearing their ideas to make our state better are the most important aspects of my job. I look forward to these upcoming meetings and the feedback they will provide.
