Senator Carla Nelson (R-Rochester) today released the following statement in response to Gov. Tim Walz’s announcement that he would ease Covid restrictions on some businesses.

“I am glad the governor decided to ease restrictions on businesses. This is exactly the right step as cases and key metrics continue to improve. We are learning more about the virus every day, we are getting our most vulnerable and most critical people vaccinated, and we are showing that we can resume our lives with safety as our paramount concern. I hope we can continue to make progress on getting people back to work and getting our economy moving again.”
