On Tuesday, January 3rd, Senator Eric Pratt (R-Prior Lake) was sworn in for his fourth term in the Minnesota State Senate.
“I am honored to once again be sworn into the Minnesota Senate, representing District 54 and the wonderful communities of Scott County,” said Pratt. “As a long-time resident of Scott County, I’ve connected with family, friends, and neighbors and have heard their concerns. Families want legislators to address the historic $17.6 billion surplus, they want relief from the inflation that is plaguing pocketbooks across the state, and they want legislators to understand the unique concerns of their communities, rather than prescribing one-size-fits all solutions. As we head into a budget year, it is important that we keep their concerns in mind and focus on ensuring Minnesota remains a safe and desirable place for families and businesses.”
Senator Pratt will serve as the Ranking Minority Member on the Finance Committee, and will also sit on the Capital Investment and Jobs and Economic Development committees.
