On Friday, February 10, State Senator Rich Draheim (R-Madison Lake) attended a town hall forum at the Cannon Valley Friends Meeting House in Northfield. The event was hosted by members of ISAIAH, a statewide faith-based organization.
Senator Draheim said of the event:
“I had a great time listening to the concerns of the citizens who took time out of their schedule to attend Friday’s forum. The key to a thriving democracy is a diverse range of opinions, and that was certainly present today. Sometimes we agreed, other times we didn’t, but I always appreciate having a respectful conversation about the issues facing us and the direction we want to go as a state.
“In addition, this was my first town hall forum as a State Senator, so it was a particularly great experience. I can’t wait to hold more town halls throughout the district in the coming weeks and months, including hopefully a return visit to Northfield.”
