(ST. PAUL) – On Wednesday evening, the American Conservative Union Foundation (ACUF) released its ratings of the 2019 legislative session. They also presented awards to several legislators recognizing their representation of Minnesotans on a variety of issues. Senator Carrie Ruud (R-Breezy Point) received an 88% score from ACUF’s Center for Legislative Accountability (CLA) and an award recognizing her commitment to conservative values last session. CLA reviews each key piece of legislation voted on in both branches of the legislature to determine the member’s score. Senator Ruud’s strong conservative record earned her this honor.
“I appreciate this recognition from ACUF,” said Senator Ruud. “As a legislator, I vote on a wide variety of topics and I keep our district in mind for each vote. I am proud of the work we accomplished last session and I will continue to uphold the conservative values our district is rooted in.”
