Statement from Senator Torrey Westrom (R-Alexandria) on the United States Supreme Court decision in the Dobbs case:

“I firmly believe every human life is worth protecting,” Westrom said. “Last week’s ruling by the Supreme Court was a huge victory for the sanctity of human life. This ruling by the Court upholds the intent of the framers of our Constitution and returns the issue of abortion back to the people’s representatives.”

“It’s important and seems to be common sense that legislators should advocate for every human life, especially our most vulnerable or defenseless. I will continue to fight and stand up for all human life to be respected and protected no matter what their age or disability!”
