State Senator Dan Hall Earns Guardian of Small Business Award

NFIB Minnesota today announced the presentation of its Guardian of Small Business award to state Senator Dan Hall (R-Burnsville).

“Senator Hall is a real friend of small business, and we are happy to announce that he has earned the NFIB Guardian of Small Business Award,” said Mike Hickey, NFIB Minnesota state director.

“I want to thank the National Federation of Independent Business for recognizing my record and work on behalf of small businesses throughout Minnesota,” said Senator Dan Hall. “These businesses are a crucial part of the state economy and play pivotal roles in the development and culture of their local communities. Minnesotan families are better off when our state encourages small business development, and I look forward to continuing to provide that support in the legislature.”

With 10,000 members statewide, NFIB is Minnesota’s largest small-business group in terms of entities. NFIB gives out its Guardian of Small Business award at both the federal and state level to recognize lawmakers who have been supportive of small business on critical issues. Hall’s award was based on votes he took during the 2017-2018 sessions of the Minnesota Legislature.
