STATEMENT FROM SENATOR LIESKE ON SENATE DEMOCRATS ENDING BIPARTISAN POWER-SHARING

Senate Democrats on Monday voted to end the chamber’s groundbreaking bipartisan power-sharing agreement.

Senator Bill Lieske (R-Lonsdale) issued the following statement.

“Unfortunately, today’s vote was no surprise. Despite Senate Democrats praising bipartisanship for the last several weeks, we knew they would throw it out at the first opportunity. I just hope that for the remainder of session they do not govern with the hyper-partisanship we saw the last two years… but I won’t be holding my breath.”
