In response to objections raised regarding the proposed implementation of Senate File 1, Senator Michelle Benson (R-Ham Lake) released the following statement:

“If the only obstacle in reaching agreement about the Republican Health Care Emergency Aid and Access Act is figuring out who processes the claims and issues the checks, that’s a great sign. The important thing is getting something done to help people who’ve been hurt by the government’s poor decisions over the past six years. We’re willing to be flexible and work through the technical details with the Governor and his staff.”
