Statement of Republican Leader David Hann on the February budget forecast:

“The theme of this forecast is ‘slower growth.’ Slower growth in revenue, slower growth in the economy, slower growth in wages. Our response needs to be slower growth in state spending. Government can’t grow faster than the economy, and it certainly can’t grow faster than family budgets. Tax relief will keep government spending in check and help family budgets grow.”
